Muggles Emily and James married at a very young age, she was twenty and he was almost twenty-two. James’ parents entirely disapproved. To make it clear for the young couple, they disinherit their younger son as soon as the he said “I do.” . The motive for such hate and disapproval was never clarified.

Eleven months after the Garrel's wedding, Savannah was born. Three amazing blissful years passed until the day the couple discovered that Emily was expecting a second child. Emily’s parents – that had been helping the young couple out with things like money – were trilled, and the soon-to-be parents amazed. But this time,Emily’s pregnancy was tremendously complicated. After the fourth month, the twenty-four year old woman was in constant pain. Being the very active person that she was, it was hard to Emily to have to spend the days until her second child’s birth at home. After the seventh month, Emily could barely even stand on her own feet, and the young couple decided that it was better to temporarily move to Emily’s parents place. The pain and fact that she hadn’t been able to take a proper walk was killing the soon-to-be mother, and Emily hit the ground; depression.
Shortly after the nine months mark, Emily gave birth to a beautiful blue eyed baby girl.
And so, Marion Jane Garrel was born.
After Marion's birth, everybody was taken aback. Was Emily’s depression aggravate ? How would the young woman deal with a new baby? Was she physically and philologically capable of taking care of a baby?

As odd as it might sound, Marion's birth helped healing Emily’s depression. It took a while, but with the unconditional support of her husband, the woman gradually started getting better. They two sisters have always been extremely different. Sunah – short for Super Savannah - , like her Hogwats mates used to call her , played for her house Quidditch team as seeker and was quite admired and popular by everyone. Basically she was the one standing in front of the camera while Marion's took the pictures.
Alexis was 10 and Savannah 13 when the Garrel’s announced they were expecting another child : Martin.

The discovery of a whole new world, the magic world, was a surprise to the Garrel’s, but they always supported their children , and expressed how happy and proud they were of them. Sure their life wasn’t perfect, but the Gray’s were living a dream.. and that was when , at the age of 19, Savannah Garrel was killed. It all happened really fast, Marion and Savannah were shopping in Muggle London, about to go back to the magic world when a group of death eaters showed up out of nowhere and started attacking the people that were passing by. Marion doesn’t remember anything in concert, the only thing she can’t get out of her mind is her sister being constantly hexed right in front of her. Marion herself was, but she lost senses very quickly. When she woke up, she was already in St Mungos, she had survived the attack but Savannah hadn’t.

But life had to go on, and Marion is now a Seventh year at Hogwarts School. The brunette isn't the most sociable person around, she made a couple friends during her first year and that's pretty much it. She prefers to spend time in the library reading a good book than outside doing something ridiculous. This girl finds parties boring, yes you read that correctly. That's probably because she doesn't know half of the people that attend to those parties.
On her fifth year, she made her parents and teachers proud by having extraordinary marks in her OWLs - it wasn't much of a surprise since she spend nearly the whole year in the library studying.. trying not to think of her sister recent death. A fact that she doesn't like to talk about.
It was also during her fifth year that some boys decided to bet if one of them could make the unsociable unpopular girl accept to go out with. Unfortunately, and due to severe insistence and a bunch of lies, Marion ended up accepting and winning two hours alone at The Three Broomsticks ..

.. it was also shorty after her fifth year that everything started : since her sister's death, Alexis' sleep had been hunted with horrible images. She couldn't focus properly, she couldn't sleep properly.. that was when she heard a couple girls in the girls bathroom talking about some drug for creativity. A week later, Marion was in her room, the tiny little glass containing a blue liquid in her hands, she knew that was wrong..oh so wrong.. but she couldn't keep going on like that.. with no sleep, with no good marks.. with no nothing..
And so she drank the potion, promising herself to keep it under control.. now, now she drinks one every two days. Marion wont admit but, she has become addicted to the blue potion.

Miss Garrel aims to have remarkable marks in her NEWTs. Marion isn’t sure about what she wants to do after she graduates, but she has started to think about applying for a job at St Mungos.
